Regional violin making from the 19th to the 20th century - Marche
At the end of the 19th century, Emidio Celani known as “il Turco” and his brother Costantino worked in Ascoli. Students of the Emidio school were Paolo Falciani and Cesare Castelli (1912-2003) who also studied under Ornati in Milan.
Antonio Fabiani, a student of Andrea and Leandro Bisiach, worked in Ascoli.
